OAKLAND, Calif. - Police on Monday were still searching for the gunman who allegedly opened fire and left five people wounded during a late-night shooting outside a movie theater in Oakland's popular Jack London Square.
One victim, a 15-year-old boy, is in stable condition after undergoing surgery.

The shooting apparently sparked from an argument shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday outside the Regal Cinemas Jack London Stadium 9 theater, said Officer Johnna Watson, an Oakland Police spokeswoman.
Three other victims, ages 15, 17 and 18 were taken to local hospitals in cars, and a fourth, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
All suffered non-life threatening injuries, Watson said Monday. The shooting apparently stemmed from an argument between two groups, she said.
The male suspect began firing from the middle of the street in front of the crowded theater, Sgt. Daniel Ming told reporters late Sunday. The suspect ran on foot afterward, Watson said.
Witnesses say at the time of the shooting, dozens of people were standing outside the theater, which is especially popular for its all-day $5 admission on Sundays.
One witness, Rodric Stanley told reporters late Sunday that there was a chaotic scene moments after the shooting that took place just a few blocks from Oakland Police's downtown headquarters.
"There was a bunch of kids out just waiting to go to the movies to see "(The Amazing) Spider-Man" and a car pulled up and just started shooting, " Stanley said. "Everybody started running. I hid and that's pretty much about it."
No arrests have been made and no further suspect information has been released.
It is the second major shooting on a Sunday in Oakland's popular waterfront destination in less than 15 months. A gunman shot and killed two people and wounded four with an assault rifle inside a lounge in April 2011 after he and his friends were not allowed in.
The nightspot subsequently closed in the months after the shooting, and the site has since reopened as a nightclub with new owners - and with security outside its main entrance.
