According to The Hollywood Reporter, the superb Team ICO PlayStation 2 title, , is set to make the jump to cinema screens. The trade claims that the film has been picked up for production by Sony Pictures' Kevin Misher, producer of 2002's The Scorpion King and the upcoming remake of classic sci-fi novel-turned-movie Dune.
Attached to pen the script is Justin Marks, currently writing a McG-directed remake of 20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo.
At this stage, little else is known about the production, and no projected release date has been announced. Producer Misher is currently backing the anticipated John Dillinger biopic, Public Enemies, directed by Michael Mann.
