After browsing the holiday markets and catching festive Christmas shows in NYC this month, your family might need a night in to re-charge. December's lineup of kids' movies includes original animated TV shows, a silly sequel and even some throwbacks that parents will love.

Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return (2014)
Those who can't get enough of the classic tale of Oz will love this new, animated spin on the story. Dorothy sets out in search of the Tin Man, Lion and Scarecrow—all voiced by such stars as Patrick Stewart, Lea Michele and Martin Short—and faces a new villian: the Jester. (Avail 11/26)

All Hail King Julien (2014)
The goofy ring-tailed lemur we all fell in love with in Madagascar gets his very own TV series, bringing more jungle madness to families. Meet a whole cast of new characters from the animal kingdom and get ready to giggle when the king does what he does best—shakes his booty. (Avail 12/19)

Troop Beverly Hills (1989)
Mom and Dad will remember loving this comedy about a California housewife who takes over her daughter's Wilderness Girl troop and wrangles the motley crew for trips to the mall and camping at the swanky Beverly Hills Hotel. (Avail 11/13)
